Some tips about this deal:

• You can mix and match any of these items. You do not have to buy 3 of the same item. When your third item rings up, the register will prompt the cashier to issue a gift card. Be sure that the gift card issues. If it doesn't, you may have picked up an item that isn't included in the deal.
• Items included in the deal should be clearly marked on the shelves. If not, you can scan the item at a price checker. If "special purchase" comes up on the screen, it is included in the deal.
• To get it as close to free as possible, you will want to choose the cheapest items. For example, if you have 3 items that are marked $3.99, your total before the gift card will be $11.97. If you have 3 items at $5, your total before the gift card is $5.
• That being said, don't always shoot for freebies! If you really need something such as shampoo, purchase what is best for YOU.
• Most coupons exclude trial/travel size. Double check before trying to use it on a travel size item.
